2026 Retreat Whitsunday XE 217C
Backed by 20 years of Australian-made caravan manufacturing, Retreat Caravans has built a reputation for innovation, premium craftsmanship and creating caravans designed for real Australians.
The 2026 Retreat Whitsunday XE 217C brings that experience together in a spacious, highly practical layout that is perfect for couples seeking comfort, capability and freedom on the road. Its inviting interior features a large café dinette, generous kitchen, queen bed, abundant storage and a private full-width rear ensuite complete with a separate shower, toilet and washing machine.
Built using Retreat’s advanced RXP 2.0 composite wall technology, along with a one-piece 40mm composite roof and 18mm high-density composite floor, the Whitsunday XE offers a strong, highly insulated and timber-free construction designed for Australian conditions.
Retreat’s innovative approach continues through the caravan’s touring technology. A 300Ah lithium battery, 660W of solar, 30A DC-to-DC charger and Projecta battery management system provide greater freedom away from powered sites. Two 110L freshwater tanks, a 110L grey-water tank, filtered drinking water and Starlink Mini provision make extended touring even easier.
Underneath, a SuperGal chassis, 3.7-tonne independent suspension, DO35 coupling, 16-inch all-terrain tyres and electronic sway control provide the confidence needed to explore beyond the bitumen.
Inside, you’ll enjoy contemporary cabinetry, premium upholstery, ambient lighting, a pillowtop mattress, 188L three-way fridge, Gree air conditioner, 28-inch Smart TV and premium audio system. Outside, the roll-out awning, reversing camera and generous storage make setting up at your destination simple.
If you’re looking for an Australian-made caravan that combines 20 years of manufacturing experience with advanced construction, innovative off-grid technology and a genuinely liveable layout, this Whitsunday XE 217C deserves to be at the top of your list.
