Two Minutes With Tilly featuring Paul Plier from NCE

Tilly Rexhepi:
Welcome to another episode of 2 Minutes With Tilly. We’re back. Back by popular demand. And who best to launch our first segment but my biggest fan of all, Paul Plier. Paul, welcome.

Paul Plier:
How are you, mate?

Tilly Rexhepi:
Now, Paul is here from NCE. Paul, you’re newly with NCE. Do you want to tell our viewers, I guess, a little bit about yourself and what you do at NCE?

Paul Plier:
Yeah. So my name’s Paul Plier. I’m the sales manager at NCE. I’ve been there since June last year, and been lucky enough to supply you some products, Tilly. Some timber and audio visual and other products as well. So you guys have been a great support to me over the years anyway, but yeah, it’s good to be back.

Tilly Rexhepi:
All right. Now, Paul, yes, we do use a lot of NCE products. As you mentioned, the audio visual, the range hoods. We also use your air conditioners as well. The new Gree air conditioners, which are performing well in our Whitsunday range. Paul, is there anything new that NCE are bringing to the table in season 2021 or beyond?

Paul Plier:
There is, but can’t really tell you much now, because it’s a bit top secret.

Tilly Rexhepi:
Classified, eh?

Paul Plier:
Classified for now, but-

Tilly Rexhepi:
No one watches this show, anyway, man. Besides you.

Paul Plier:
Well, what I will promise is, once I do have something to tell you, I’ll be back on 2Minutes With Tilly to let everybody know what’s going on.

Tilly Rexhepi:
Fantastic. Now, Paul, I’m going to throw you a question.

Paul Plier:
Yep.

Tilly Rexhepi:
Brendan Fevola, Chris Scott, or Dustin Martin. You’ve got to eat with one, you’ve got to party with one, and you’ve got to be locked in an elevator with one. Who do you choose?

Paul Plier:
Probably eat with Chris Scott, because it’ll be over really quickly.

Tilly Rexhepi:
Like his coaching career, if we’re led to listen to you.

Paul Plier:
Yeah. Well, sometimes people stay in their job a bit too long.

Tilly Rexhepi:
For those who haven’t seen Paul’s Facebook comments, if you’ve been living under a rock, he’s a massive advocate of the Geelong Football Club, but does not rate Chris Scott at all.

Paul Plier:
Yeah. Time to go, Chris. But yeah, probably eat with him, because it’d be over in … I’ll just get maybe a medium cheeseburger meal and get out of there. And I actually met Fev a long time ago and I got to know him pretty well, so probably hang out in an elevator with him. And Dusty’s Dusty so have a few beers with him. That’d be fun.

Tilly Rexhepi:
You’re partying with Dusty. Fair enough as well. I have to tell this story, my friend. When I called you to get your permission to come on two minutes with Tilly, it’s like I asked for your hand in marriage. What did you actually say to me about this segment?

Paul Plier:
Well, I may have mentioned … Sorry, honey. But I may have mentioned that this is right up there with the birth of my children. I’ve waited a long time for this, seen a lot of Tilly’s interviews and been bugging him. When’s it my turn? When’s it my turn? And today’s the day. So again, sorry, Erica. But this is right up there. I can walk away from the industry now a happy man, if that was ever the case.

Tilly Rexhepi:
Breaking news, NCE sales manager just lost his missus. No, Paul, that’s fantastic, mate. Now, if people want to find out more about NCE and the products that they have, where can they find us?

Paul Plier:
Yep. So just jump on NCE.com.au, and we have the full suite of products on our brand new website, by the way. Everything from timber, all the way through to audio visual, like you said before range hoods, air cons. We’ve got a massive range of products that will do anything for your caravan or your RV.

Tilly Rexhepi:
Do they have anything for the ladies? Because I can guarantee you after that little pitch, you’re going to have to buy Erica something, mate, just as a bit of a sorry.

Paul Plier:
Yeah. We’ve got a few things. So girls love watching their Netflix, and stuff like that. All our TVS are all set up for smart stuff. We’ve got all different boxes you can plug things into and make it easy. You can watch Bold and the Beautiful on the outside. You can watch something on Netflix on the inside and away you go.

Tilly Rexhepi:
Bit of Netflix and chill. Okay, Paul, well, definitely my pleasure to have you on the segment as much as it was pleasurable for you to be on the segment. I’d like to thank you for being our first, hopefully not lost. And mate, let’s end this conversation with a selfie.
